First-Time Buyer schemes and buy-to-let mortgages

Ok, so if you have at least one buy-to-let mortgage, and no residential mortgage- you're still classed as a "first-time buyer" if you get a residential mortgage. Therefore you'll benefit from all the first-time buyers schemes.

I'm not sure if I agree with the situation. Surely a "first-time buyer" should be someone that doesn't have a mortgage at all...
