Rightmove are working on a new site. Here's a sneak preview. What do you guys think?

Oh, in terms of search engine optimization, having two live sites with the same content is pretty bad. They may get penalised by Google if they're not careful.

Looks pretty much like the old one.

I'd rather they spent the time selling my grandmother's place by doing some offline advertising, or featuring more properties in Japan (which I'd love to be able to research without having to lift my butt from the chair).

Looks like the new site didn't go as smoothly as planned. They launched for a few days, but now have gone back to the old version. They have also removed the "try the new site" link from the homepage.

It would be interesting to know what kind of problems thety encountered.

The new site looked nicer (a lot cleaner), but I thought it was a bit too cluttered with unnecessary junk. They should stick to their bread and butter- showing properties for sale/rent. That's why people love and use rightmove, not for their articles and stuff.

I haven't checked the links yet, but from what you're saying faggy it sounds as though they could have incorporated their new material (articles, etc.) into their current site, rather than attempting to create a new one.

They didn't have any new material, they just changed the design. But like I said, they've changed back to the old style...
