I'm seriously considering buying a rundown, dirt cheap property and giving it a good fix up. I'm not looking to get rich, but i'm looking for a healthy profit.

I don't want a huge project because I won't have the time, but I'm looking for something I can flip quickly. Ideally i'd like to get the property back onto the market after a month of work.

Anyone else having similar thoughts?

Sounds a good idea .

Me and my boyfriend ( well mainly me ) want to do that straight after we have finished the one we are doing now.

Either buy a flat and quicky do it up ... or buy an old fashioned terrece .. and just paint everything , fix whats broken , new bathroom suite etc .

So whats your idea of a healthy profit for a months work ?

Id say about £10,000 would be nice/realistic ... if you buy cheap and at the right time.

Yeah, I'm aiming for about 10k. That would be decent for a few months (max) work.

I'm trying to find some local auctions. I've looked on findaproperty.co.uk, but there doesn't seem to be any auctions listed locally.

Yeah, I think this will def be my next project.
