Lanlard's the man behind Madonna's wedding cake and Brooklyn Beckham's first birthday cake. After 4 years of perfecting, cake-boy's house is finally ready. And judging by the pictures, the cake industry is extremely lucrative...

I'm thinking, "WOW"

QuoteEric Lanlard and his partner, Paul, bought their stunning glass, steel and timber apartment in Battersea straight from the developer, but it has taken them four years to make it feel like home.

This takes the biscuit: 'it's a real sanctuary', Eric Lanlard says of his ultra-modern house, which he and his partner have spent four years 'customising'

"A very modern house like this can be a bit stark and uncomfortable, so we have put a lot of time and effort into decorating and furnishing it to make it feel warm and welcoming," says Eric.

The 39-year-old master patissier loves to relax here after a hectic day running his bespoke patisserie: he makes cakes for A-list clients, including wedding cakes for Madonna, Elizabeth Hurley and Claudia Schiffer, and the cake for the first birthday of the Beckhams' son Brooklyn. He also fits in guest appearances on UKTV Food.

Its small and not much thought has gone into that.  I would say its a 36 foot square box.
One ting i do like is the air con piping.

Urgh. You are hard to please.
I think it looks wicked, so badger off  :-*

I like the outside - the wooden cladding and the glass, and the "security fence" styled gutter type thing.

I like the overhang of the top half (the wooden bit) above the glass, too, because its very japanese style (predictable, you see).

I don't like the black tiles in the bathroom. The 80s is far too recent for that kind of ugliness.

I also don't like the photograph above the bath; if you don't know you should be washing your face in a bathroom you shouldn't be living in a house like that!!!

i think the rest of us just appreciate a bit of class that's all.

Badger

Its to small and its very over looked, just take a peek at those flats all around it.  The office is ok but * this is my point here * if he has so much money then he should have had all the wires chased into the wall, it looks a bloody mess with wires all over the place, when you have a glass work top, come on cake man sort it son.

propertyfag

Ya'll should just leave my baker alone.

He looks very pleased with himself.

It looks as though he just followed a grid and decided on the layout by seeing what would fit where...

Is it a warehouse, hotel or previously a car showroom?!

I know I'm being harsh but blurgh...  :P

propertyfag

I think i'm the only one that likes it...

Badger

Fag, yes i think you are.  Tell you what i recon you have grown a bunny tail and your nose has started to twitch, cos its a rabbit hutch dude, but hey if you like what rabbits get up to then who am i to say shit to anyone, chit chit chit chit chittttttttt
