I came across Rightmoveattraction.co.uk, where people have been submitting their stories. Of course, the stories are about the struggling of selling property...

QuoteWe need to move quickly. Realising that we'd need to reduce our expectations in this uncertain market, we're now on for less than we bought it for. There have been a few interested viewings but no sale! You may need to stomach that price reduction your agent has been talking about in order to get motivated applicants through your door. If your property isn't the best priced, most well presented and promoted property on the street, the chances are it won't sell in this market.

Our bungalow has been on the market for 12 months. Initially we had quite a few viewings but that declined rapidly. We received one silly offer in July07 (£35k off the asking price) which we're now thinking we should have taken, but things weren't that bad then. We've now reduced AGAIN. Let's hope the government sorts this stamp duty fiasco out soon so we can all move on! We've a second viewing tomorrow so keeping fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone trying to move!
