Hi,

First time post, but been reading the Angry landlord for ages..... I need a bit of help.

We have a building with a few flats in it.  We aquired the building a few years ago.  All the flats bar 1 is are nice and new and have good tenants in.

The last flat (1 bedroom) , has been "rented" to a guy who was in the building , a legacy tenant from the previous owner of the building.

This tenants rent is paid by the DSS.  However we just found out he has been subletting it to 2 other people.  These 2 have been increasingly problomatic to the other tenants in the building, verbally abusive, police called to fights etc.

Problems as I see it are:

If we issue section 21 against the "main" tenant.  He could go OK, find another flat, change his details with the DSS and leave the 2 fckwits in our flat.

Any suggestions how to proceed?
