Hi All.
Long standing landlord but please don't shoot me,you lot out there.. you don't make big money now...
My issues are that after having owned my flat for about 12 years and renting from then, i have paid management fees ie to the lease hold management contractor etc,rented out through a rental contractor separate organisation.
My problems are this,the lease hold management company Waveward property ltd. as early days paid a monthly fee and on and off but paid as required, the actual owners of the lease sent a letter out some time ago 5 years or so offered the block as a buy out of the lease,so became our own etc.
Since this issue arose I fell behind with the fees and have moved on so let it go on for some time (yea my fault). Now having just received a Final bill of 2160.00 to be paid by the end of Marc and the very limited information on the invoice has on date Range from and to and no information as to the amount owed on or other information only numerous attempts to request payment but I never received this as no further correspondence was noted or conducted by the management company.
I received the demand via my rental contractor who are in the same town so I assume they knew where to send the demand and then to me as required.
What I want to know is the demand also states solicitors will be instructed if not paid by the end March 2013,received on the 22 March 2013. Since no prior communication has been noted I have sent a letter requesting all audit of contact made if any, also terms of the lease hold management company and audit of
payment dates from and to.
Can the lease hold management company seize my property or subject me to a bailiff visiting for debt owed since no negotiation has been encountered.
Not sure where to go on this, I,m not saying I won't pay but it,s the way I have been treated by this joke company. Seem to me, judge, jury with no explanation. Any ideas please.
