Last night on Jan 25th one of my tenants (a young lady) was threatened by a male tenant and she phoned the police. They took him away and the investigation is ongoing. This person also barged into her room and made two holes in the property, so caused a lot of damage as well. He has refused to sign a 6 month tenancy agreement (which ends on May 28th) and hasn't paid this months rent. We need to evict him as soon as possible! She has told me how scared she is but doesn't want to have to leave because of him. I am in touch with Legal 4 Landlords, and am in the process of putting together a case file. But other than that, is there any other way to get this dangerous man evicted any sooner? This has become a serious issue! Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

You should find out if the police are able enforce an exclusion order on him,preventing him from being in the vicinity.If he breaches it he will be arrested.It may be that the young woman herself has to request this.

Thank you for your reply. We do now have a police incident number and the female tenant is giving us a statement which I am passing on to Legal For Landlords.
