Good Morning!

Another quick question!

I have had to get new boilers put into 2 of my properties.  I'm not sure where I stand with a GSC, do I need to get this also or should this come along with the boiler re-fit?

Thanks

Wendy

Usually for a new boiler you will be given a "Boiler installation certificate" this would usually cover you for the first year.
However, the other appliances like the gas cooker will NOT be covered under the boiler certificate.

The gas engineer must do a gas safety check before he signs off the new boiler.

As long as the boilers were installed by a gas safe engineer, you don't need to get a new GSC until it's time to get a new GSC (1 year after the previous check).

If the boiler wasn't installed by a Gas Safe Engineer then that Landlord won't be too bothered about GSCs.  ;)
