Hi I have finally found my previous tenants through finder monkey and have sent them an invoice for rent arrears and the costs incurred for cleaning the property they disappeared from. They sent it back RETURN TO SENDER! what do I do next? the invoice is for £2,317.78 almost £2000 of this is for unpaid rent the rest for cleaning up their mess!

I'd assume that you start proceedings against them... they can ignore you for as long as they want... they can't ignore everything.

You didn't expect a cheque in the return post as a result of your invoice did you?  You just need to start proceedings against them now you know where they are.

The easiest option is to issue a claim through the Governments own online claim service - www.moneyclaim.gov.uk

If you obtain judgment and the matter remains unpaid then you can enforce the matter using an HCEO.
