I had a tenant who I served an eviction notice as she had no paid her rent and her partner was causing a disturbance in the area.  Police were involved and she was taken to a safe house.  She informed me she had left the house and I changed the locks.  This happened 10 days ago.  I have since redecorated the property and found new tenants.  However she rang me today saying she had not formally left the property and she would like to continue the tenancy with her new born baby.  Has she any rights?

Did she tell you verbally that she had left the property, or given you writen notice?

I mean, if she told you she had permantly left the property, then you by all means you're in the right. But it's just being able to prove it...

Did she move all her belongings out?

Tell her to piss off, you dont need that kindo poo all the time !  we have enough to deal with without dealing with people who think everyone owes them something
