Can anyone advise if I can't meet the government's targets for EPC at level C due to financial constraints how I evict my tenants? Hardly think a sec 8 covers this and from what I understand the sec 21 is being abolished.

Right now, neither the EPC limit or Section 21 abolition have happened or have any definite schedule or detail. So it isn't really possible to answer that question.

You need to decide how likely both things are and act accordingly. It's likely to be a guess as it is for everyone. But,if you think both are likely to happen, start talking to your tenant about them leaving now.

I was reading about my local authorities offering if you rent a property to them, was thinking about a cheapie. They rent the property with grants to bring it up to EPC level. Then I thought about what a useless, interfering, tyrannical, clueless bunch of jobsworths they are and decided its probably a bad idea, grant or no grant.
