Hi can anyone help. Our tennant has been in our property for 8 years with her son and youngest daughter. She had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her eldest daughter has come back from Thailand and moved into the property. Anyway we have now been informed of a list of damages in the property all caused by the tennant. We haven't been able to check in it the past two years due to covid and nothing had been reported. Out of courtesy we have started the list of jobs but it is all damage caused by them and our agreement is that any damage is down to them to replace. It is also in there that any decorating is also down to them. Anyway my question is what happens with the agreeement once the mother passes away as the agreement is signed by her.  I have a start date on the agreement but no end date. Thanks

Tenancy legally continues, assuming no surviving joint tenant and no partner to succeed to it, vest in the estate to be inherited.
