Hi - I have tenants who neglected to report the inner glass door on the built in oven had come loose. They continued to use it but so much heat was escaping the pvc wrapping on the adjacent doors and drawers has melted and is peeling off. They claim it is "wear and tear" but it is clearly neglect as they are obliged to report any faults with appliances. The units are discontinued and I have spent hours trying to find the closest match with no luck. The only alternative is to replace all the kitchen doors. The kitchen is approximately thirteen years old. My question is about how much to charge them. The kitchen is not new but would have lasted for several more years. I will be out of pocket if I only charge her a proportion of the cost.  What is the fairest thing to do?
