hi, has anybody got a link to doing self tax self assessment as a landlord . At the moment I have one rental property and use an accountant to do the tax return, but I think this unnecessary and expensive. But the online help in the government website is hard to follow?
It should be quite easy?  , using an accountant is overkill I think. ?

It can be time consuming. You have to retrieve passwords and reference numbers which you receive through the post to activate your online account.

I've got the passwords and that stuff, And I'm sure it's pretty easy to do and you probably only have to enter one or figures and pretty much repeat the process each year. Otherwise I have to pay an account £150.
Outrageous.
