I never really know what I can claim on expenses.  Obviously the usual ones aren't the problem but what about the small things like stationery. Everything is done by email these days so no stamps etc. Also what can I claim regarding the use of the home?  As I live in Spain when I go back I hire a car but obviously I use it for other things as well as going to the property. Can I claim any of the hire costs?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Think about what you can use "Wholly and EXCLUSIVELY" for the 'business' in order to claim.
