Myself and my wife own 4 rental properties as tenants in common. In the past they have been managed by agents but are now managed by my wife. Does anyone know the rules around my wife claiming an income from our pre tax profits for managing them please? ie can she if it is a reasonable sum. Many thanks Hollydaybound

What would be the point? It would reduce her income from the rental business but increase her income from the "property management" business by the same amount.
