Hello all,

please can anyone help with this? I am a non UK resident living in south america. I have a UK property which was recently vacated by tenants who now want to take me to court over the deductions from their deposit. There is a UK address on the AST (in accordance with the housing act) they want to use to serve papers. I have read that as I am not a UK resident and they are aware of my overseas address, then the papers cant be served to the UK address, but then the housing act says that they can! Can anyone shed any light on this situation? Many thanks

Hippogriff

Unless what you've read specifically overrides the Housing Act, I'd go with that...
