I need to seek out new tenants and was not sure if I can still advertise my property to include the request "no Smokers or CMO apply". Any help gratefully received, thank you.

You have something against Chief Marketing Officers? Why? They'd usually earn a lot. Sure, these Executive types can be a bit high maintenance, but if your property is in good nick I don't see why they should be excluded for fear of them being high maintenance. Marketeers, right? Are you with me? Yeah, you are.

We always say no smokers, no pets, no dss tenants. It's part of our insurance anyway, they stipulate no tenants on benefits etc. You can always ask to meet tenants as well to get a feel for them, it is your house after all
