hi could any one tell me if  would  be able to claim for a laptop as expenditure have 2 buy to let propertys thanks in advance.

You may consider claiming the entire cost if it is used for mainly for the purposes of the buy to let business, with any private use being incidental. With only two buy to lets in your portfolio you may be more likely to be able to claim only a business portion. You will need estimate what percentage is used for business and what percentage for private.
