I am just getting a property ready to rent out. It has some roller blinds that I was hoping to keep in as it would cost the tenant a lot of money to replace however they currently have looped cords. I have been looking at the legislation but am not clear whether I can just put a breaker on the cord or whether the cord has to be secured to the wall also. Is it easier just to take them down. Looking for advice

I had wands fitted when we installed new blinds throughout a property we renovated 5 years ago, served us through 3 lots of tenants.

Get a few quotes the fitters know what you require if letting.

I would be 100% safe and have the wall hooks/cleats fitted to the wall to store any cords esp if they have kids
