Hi all, just looking for a bit of advice. Currently trying to buy a 2 bed house and it's come back on the land register that he is bankrupt. He's claiming it's the wrong person on the land register and he's never been bankrupt and is currently in the process of getting it changed. I've got a sneaky feeling he is bankrupt and is applying for a trustee to act on his behalf, but just trying to keep it from me. Is it a deal breaker if he is bankrupt or just another hoop to go through?  Thanks

He may have creditors who have a claim on the property.A solicitor would have to check.Personally I would walk away from this one at once.
