Hi everyone

How can I find out if a person has been evicted from a property for failure to pay rent? I have a possible tenant in mind, a distant cousin but the word is that he fell behind paying his rent which forced his landlord (apparently he was renting from a housing association, so I'm told) to evict him. He may well have been evicted, rightly or wrongly but for some other reason that wont be an issue to me. I'd like to give the guy a chance but not at the risk of big headaches in the future in regards to rent.

There's no free, 100% complete information database.  There are private databases of tenancy records which tenancy referencing companies use, but you would need to use their full services to get this info.
