My new tenants have had a new Sky dish installed on the front of the house. The Sky engineer seems to have put the dish in exactly the same place as the last one but the next door neighbour is claiming that it is blocking their Free Sat signal to their dish (They used to have Sky but have free Sat now). The dishes are quite close together (about 3 feet) but it was not a problem before. Next door neighbour is adamant that it is the fault of Sky but they are not willing to come back out as they have installed the dish in the same location as the old one. Can it be a coincidence that her dish has stopped working when my tenants one was put in or are Sky to blame?

I dont understand why you are getting involved. This is between your tenant and his neighbour.

I'm getting involved because the next door neighbour has spoken to me about it and as a responsible landlord I feel it's my duty to try and resolve the situation.

You're missing the point. You really are. So don't get defensive. You're not the occupant of the property. The Tenant is. There is a dispute between your Tenant, the occupant, and the next door neighbour. It's absolutely nothing to do with you. You are making a rod for your own back by coming up with this "responsible Landlord" tosh. Politely, but firmly, disengage from this conversation as quickly as you are able. It's not your duty to resolve anything like this, anything at all. You are currently misguided.
