Morning guys, I'm just looking through some paper work from a letting agent and there is a option to pay for a Rental protection policy, do you guys go for it? Its says if the tenant was to flee the property before the end of the termination of the contract then the rent protection is void, wondered your thoughts or is there better cover with some insurance providers maybe?

That's very vague. What exactly are they offering, what are they protecting?

I do not insure against things like loss of rent... rent guarantee insurance.

I do the stuff I am required to do by law, but don't top and tail it all with value add options... I take the view that the Insurers always win... which probably implies I always lose, so I engage with them as little as I possibly can.
