Being a new landlord scary time lot of questions buzzing.
Bought the property last month and renovated ready to let .
The property has gas electrical safety certificate, EPC in date on the previous landlords name. Does that mean I should again get it done on my name ar as the certificates are on the property I can still carry on with the same and when I renew it I can include my name. Please guide this newbie

You know the answer to the question.

The checks were carried out by an independent 3rd party on a property.

Good luck with your landlording.  Read lots and lots, then a bit more about protecting deposits.  Only give a 6 month AST, no longer.

You renovated a property in less than a month?

I'm renovating a property right now and it's taken me three month so far, with at least another month to go.

Or did you not mean "renovate"... did you really mean "painted"... or "painted some of"?

Anyway, your certificates are fine... although you don't actually need anything covering the electrics.
