 Hello all. Need some input/counsel please.

So my tenants break their lease, absolutely destroy our home. At this point we are up to $4,000 in damages. We have filed for a civil case as well. Before this the tenants would no communicate with me. Now that they have left my property, I call once a day and leave a message. Nothing mean or insulting. Just asking why, and what are their intentions with the damages. The wife will text me saying that I am harassing her and by law I am not allowed to contact her or him, ever. Their actual lease is up April 30. To make things even more interesting, her husband is away for training. And a police officer that she "knows" is calling me and my wife, and telling us to stop contacting my tenant, or else basically.... Anyone's input on this would be so welcomed right now. Thanks

My input would be to recommend you sue them.  That, and probably find a US house forum,

Can I be naughty now and ask that if you find a good American site, can you let me know. I'm a tenant in the USA and just need to know my rights regarding deposit etc.
