Hi,

We have served a section 21 on our tenant and she has been advised by the council to stay put.  We now have started an accelerated possession order through the court.

She has now informed us that she will only be paying us weekly (usually per calendar month).  She is on a periodic tenancy - contract ended and just rolled on, where she is supposed to pay one month in advance. Is she allowed to do this without our agreement?

We also informed her before Xmas that we wanted to put the rent up.  She told us that she couldn't afford it and so we left it.  As it is now dragging on would we be allowed to put the rent up now?
