Six monthly payments

Hi
The two sharers in my flat are on a joint and several AST but one pays monthly (A) the other six monthly (B)
A wants to leave, B wants to stay (and move his gf in) and pay the whole rent in the same way.
If I give them a six month contract, will I still have to wait six months before I can start the eviction process in the event of them failing to pay? Or can I just evict them at the end of the tenancy if the rent is not forthcoming for the next six month period?
B has rented for a couple of years now and never had any problems with him but the reason he pays upfront is because he doesn't pass financial referencing. I have done property inspections and no sign of anything dodgy and he pays through my bank (not cash).
Bit unsure as to what to do. Any help much appreciated.
TIA

If you agree a fixed term, you won't be able to evict during the fixed term when there's no rent arrears as there won't be if they've paid the rent up front, so I don't understand your question.

Six monthly is not covered under section 8 ground 8, so you'd need to go via section 21. Not any different to the situation you're already in.

Don't grant the tenancy til you've received cleared funds.  Simples.
