Does anyone have (planning to open) Property unit trusts based on pension contribution?

My accountant suggested that form of building up the pension (via property investment). Just wandering if anyone could share the experience?...

I've had a bit of experience running a pension for a private individual, and it's allot of work.

Is this what you mean? or just the off the shelf unit trusts?

Personally I don't think the generic AAA returns are there with property, and really if you think property is the thing, you get as much if not more tax relief investing in your own home.

Perhaps your accountant could shed more light?

This isn't really a property investment question.
There are much bigger questions at play here...
A) is a unit trust the most efficient investment vehicle
B) is an OEIC or other non Unit Trust vehicle linked (managed) to property the right thing?
C) is an index linked low cost investment better? 80% of managed funds fail to be beat the index etc etc

However I suspect OPW and so will leave it at that.
