I went round to the house in my previous post to find an empty property, a pile of post and and a smashed window badly boarded up. Very little damage has been done and a silvery substance spread on door frames and windows that the locksmith recognised as finger print dust.

I'm now waiting to hear from the police what has happened.

As the property is clearly abandoned what if any obligations do I have to the tenants?
