Hello everyone, I've just joined this wonderful site and need some advise and pointers. I am a landlord looking to set up a rent 2 rent lease with a housing provider for a HMO.
what kind of lease agreement woud I need and what clauses to protect my rent and property?
any info would be wonderful from you lovely people.... Thank you...

Hi P Khan you can download lease agreements and read then online.Before you sign any agreement please make sure the rent will be guaranteed.

Google why rent 2 rent is a bad idea, then if you still thinking of doing it, go google some more.

Rent to rent is ethically questionable. It is also for wannabee Landlords who haven't proven that they can amass enough capital through normal living to get started properly. It's like being a remora... but with no mutual benefit.

One of the main, and significant, risk for the owner is that the rent-2-rent firms are usually a company with little to no assets so if they fails to pay their rent or just run off with the rent from the subtenant there's nothing the owner can do about it.
