Hi all, my first post here so hope this is an easy one - and many thanks for letting me join. Onto my question: I had a Gas safe certificate issued for the combi boiler in the newly rented 2 bed property - however, soon after this boiler went completely. As soon as was possible, I had a Gas safe fitter fit and install a new Gas combi boiler. Obviously, with a brand new boiler, the old certificate (for the original knackered boiler) should now be invalid? Would i need a brand new certificate - issued by the Gas fitter for stating that this brand new installed boiler is Gas safe, or does the installation certificate suffice? (Gas fitter was vague on this when i spoke to him yesterday)
Many thanks guys

The Installation Certificate is effectively a GSC for that appliance for the first year. You have that, I read?

Not just yet Hippo. I'm still waiting for all the relevant paperwork to be honest, but of course i'm sure that will come in due course.. Thanks for the answer
