My newly installed oven was not working as the tenant didn't know how to use it properly. And I believe it is just the electricity problem as the wire has been damaged when engineer checked it.
And does anyone know how much is the reasonable cost to repair it? Agency might charge me 200 pounds. Any people/company can be recommended for the repair?

Thanks in advance.

There's this Sparky I know... who charges a reasonable price, he's called Ian. He was due to fit an electric shower for me, switch-out of the exact same model... when he got there he told me it was the switch, and he changed that for me instead... he'd even got the new shower with him too... said he could use it on another job, charged me a lot less. I was well happy. I reckon he'd charged about £50 to £60 for something like this, especially if you'd been able to highlight the issue for sure, beforehand, then he could come prepared.

Why your Tenant would ever have access to any wires going to and from an oven is another question entirely.

Otherwise... Checkatrade, Rated People... the others.

Why didn't the engineer who checked it  rectify the problem? Did he think the tenants had damaged it? If so,you need to tell them to leave well alone,as they could be charged for future repairs. How can anyone reading this suggest a Sparks, when you don't say where the property is?

I have to agree with you that Ian is good, very reasonable rates and leaves the place tidy. However,Jimmy and I go back a long way and that counts for a lot.
