SORRY I AM THE LANDLORD, ISSUED SECTION 8 back IN SEPTEMBER 2013 AND NOW GRANTED Out Right Possession 14 days, yes I am sofa hopping and now homeless since November 2013
*******************

Please note that Deputy district County court Judge yesterday order Out Right Possession 14 days"

As the landlord, I rented my house via  council, in good faith, they have not been supporting me, and
would not recommend anyone to rent a property to them.

The way the council is treating my tenant,  is  disgraceful and unfairly, I cannot understand why the council unable to
place on the housing list and rehouse her, due to code of guidance 8.14.
and I feel that the council will not assist my tenant until  the bailiff's are sent to my property,
which would be another five weeks.

I would like to make  a formal complaint and seeking compensation for the stress and inconvenience,
due to myself being homeless and at present sofa hopping with friends and family, because the council advised
that I have no connection to the borough and unable to present myself homeless.

May I thank you in advance for your kind attention and any advise.

I haven't got a clue what any of that means, your situation or what you're asking.

I'm a little confused by this post...

Are you the Landlord and the one "sofa hopping"?

Why has the Tenant been served notice?

Who wants the house back? I presume you would if you are sofa hopping and it's your house?

Which Council are we talking about?

Can you elaborate a little, do you just require advice on how to complain to the council and whether it's worth your time?
Or do you wish to complain about the treatment of the tenant?
Or do you require advice on eviction notices/processes?

If the council has housed the tenant as you have rented it through them, surely it's out of your hands and down to the tenant to complain themselves? Or do you mean you have rented yourself to a DSS tenant??

Sorry if I am missing the obvious.

The council are the deposit system gurantor, is there any point me complaining and is it worth my time, I do also want to  complain about the treatment of my tenant, I do not need eviction notices/processes advice, I have been granted Out Right Possession 14 days

Also I am highlighting to other Landlords about my treatment from renting my property via a county council.

To be honest, if a section 8 has been served, that's due to rent arrears of 2 months, I therefore would not concern myself with the council's treatment of a rent dodging tenant.

What have the council done against you? What support should they have provided to you?

If you feel they should have done more to rehouse the tenant, my personal view would be that you are wasting your time complaining.

The housing list is the housing list at the end of the day, private landlords are a "means to an end" by tenants wanting council housing due to homelessness, or in landlord terms, section 21 eviction.

Try this for general info - if this is at all similar to the scheme you had with your council for the 4-week rent in advance, the onus is still on you as Landlord to chase rent arrears.
