I know the budget was only the other day and I cannot find any updated information about this yet.

Does anyone know if the notice to vacate rules are changing back to 2 months from April 1st 2021?

I am assuming I will have to re serve a new section 21 (6a) for this to apply.

That's not something the government would announce in a budget, wrong government department / minister. Experience from the last year show we'd only find out if it's extended maybe a couple of days before. You'll just have to wait and see.
