Hello,

My tenants reported the neighbours to council twice for playing loud music, the neighbours got aggressive (according to the tenants) and the police got called. The tenants now want to leave because they feel that  the relationship with the neighbours are broken beyond repair. Do I need to inform any new tenants of the noisy neighbours? We used to live in the property and never had any issues...

I would keep shtum.I have had a similar problem lately.The noisy neighbour in question is no angel,and others have complained in the past.That said,he has changed his ways a lot.These tenants go to bed at 8.30,and have complained of any normal sounds of movement.You do not legally need to say anything,you are not selling the place.Noise is highly subjective,they may be very sensitive.,or just hate his taste in music.
