Tennant been in about 4 months seems ok. Had to do a repair on a window got speaking to him. He mentioned that the shower isn't great and would I be prepared to  fit a new one. He said his relative would be able to fit at a reasonable cost. Should I fit a new shower and use his relative or get my own contractor?

What needs fitting exactly?  I have an electric shower in a property and the tenants were saying it wasn't very good.  I purchased a new adjustable head for around £10 and the T's were now happy with their 'new' shower. 

I wouldn't let a T do, or contract work on your property on your behalf.

Thanks for the reply riptide. That's what I thought, the shower is very old and even before it was rented out thought it may be a issue. The flat has been rewired and a new central heating system installed so think I may use my own tradesman.
