I am so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.. BUT.

I am just updating my AST and have been round the internet for answers but wanted some advice.

Now on my AST it has a section on termination.


Under the new rules

The right form to use is the Section 21 6a for a shorthold tenancy agreement.

So mine is for 6 months to cover my butt if things go wrong.
But when it roles over to a periodic tenancy agreement

Do you use the same 6a form to get them out???

Because on the old rules it was a 21 1 b for the AST and a 21 4 a for a periodic.

I did say it was a stupid question but I just wanted confirmation.
