Hello this is my first post.  I have 3 rentals, and one property in which I let 3 rooms on separate month to month tenancy agreements.  I am hoping to sell this next march and am. Wondering what the rules are regarding separate tenancies.  One tenant has been in the room 3 years, the other 2 only a couple of. Months.  The tenancy agreement states one month's notice either way.  They pay only a rent and I pay all the bills.  My question is, do I still have to give them. 6.months notice.  I need to sell the property as I am retired and find it getting more problematic.  I don't want to use an agent so just need to sell up.  I'd really appreciate some advice on this please.

If you're desperate to sell, you can always sell it with tenants in situ. Yes, at least six months notice seperately to all of them. If 2 of them have only been in place for a couple of months, then you can't serve notice for another couple of months anyway.

Talk to the tenants? Most will move out on an agreed date when they've found somewhere else to move to if they know their landlord is wanting to sell. You can also try paying them to leave.

6 months notice from the 29th of August 2020, does anyone know legal what you can do.
The agreement was signed on the 7th of Feb 2020, expires 6th February 2021.
Do I still have to serve 6 months notice as it was signed prior to March the 26th 2020.
Also can I insist the end date is the end of the agreement or can they push for it to be a full 6months which leaves me 24 days with no agreement in place.
I am wanted to leave the BTL market and sell in the new year.
I need to amend my notice today. If anyone knows the correct procedure please reply.
Thanks in advance. I have read the whole act and no surprisingly this isn't covered.
