Tenant given EPC and Gas Certificate beginning of last year but now realise I should have given them a How to Rent booklet. I am wanting to move in the property in October, what legal form of notice do I give? Can I give a Section 21? Any help will be greatly appreciated

If you provide your tenants with a copy of the How to Rent guide now, that should be sufficient to enable you to issue a Section 21. I assume you protected any deposit in good time and issued the appropriate documentation for that?

Hi you can give them the how to rent booklet prior to the issue and you will have no problem when you issue the section 21.  As rightly said make sure the deposit paperwork is correct
