How easy is the eviction process to do, I have been in contact with Legal4Landlords, has anybody heard of them? Are they any good? Do I need them, as they are just over £1000 if it goes all the way. They say it could be in court in about two weeks. Which would be great if I was to get a positive outcome.

Eviction process isn't too difficult to be honest, you can do it yourself. But if you're unsure and what the professionals to take care of everything, just let them do it...

Thank you, I`ve never had to evict a tenant but I feel I would like to have a go at it, even though to pay someone else is an easier option, .but thank you for the advice. I`ve just joined this website and it`s brilliant, should have done it ages ago (if I knew it existed) but how many people say that.

To be fair, its a human, and one who offers free advice to people as well as offering his services. Its not bothering me?

The only thing I would add is make sure if they are using a High Court enforcement officer to undertake the eviction it is imperative that the order for possession is transferred to High Court under Section 42 of the County Court Act 1984.

I have heard that some small new HCEO companies are doing the eviction without this transfer.

This basically makes the whole eviction illegal and opens up significant claims for damages against the landlord by the former tenant and the Council who re-housed them.

This whole thing is about to be blown and it is likely that hundreds of evictions carried out by these companies illegally and will no doubt see many landlords in some deep financial. water.
