questions about private parking

I own a single unit flat in a block. It also has a private, off-street parking space in the block's car park. Our current tenants do not own a car and obviously are not using the space. However, every time we visit we are finding the spot occupied by others. I have not yet called the police to have them removed (I am not sure if the police will even oblige), but it is quite annoying.

I was wondering what (if anything) I can do about this? For example, could I let out the parking space to someone else (obviously the current tenants will need to agree and the contract will need to be modified)? Or should I just mark the spot "Flat #; Private" or something like that (assuming the building owners allow this)?

Thanks!

hi in short term buy some cones for your spot plus sign stating private space for flat**  on cones
if you find car parked there leave a note on windscreen saying please do not park there
because it is private parking space. or offer them chance to rent space.,
.. if you can get space clear rent out and go halves with tenant.
