My estate agent just informed me that my tenant has handed their notice to move on the 15th of May 2015.  Tenant usually pay their rent on the 21st of every month. When ask about the next month rent  the estate agent informed me that tenant will pay their rent for this month on the 15th of April and that will cover till the 15th of May.  I was wondering if this is legal or are they trying to swindle a month rent from me?
Please I need advice and law to back me up before I respond.

You are talking about 6 days when a void could be 90 days.

Get an Advert on Upad today, and start viewings, dump the Agent and do it yourself.
