Hi all,

I have moved overseas and I am renting out my property whilst I'm away this has been for 18 months.

I left the flat with a very expensive home cinema system for the tenants to enjoy and to make a premium and point of difference on the flat.

Upon inspect the flat over the holiday period I found the tenant had connected a chrome cast box to the  TV and for long periods of time the TVs just had  a still image of  a clock on the tv whilst they listened to music through the tv and amp , this will cause long term damage to the tv.

After I cared out about £2000 pounds of renovation work to the flat.

I informed the tenants that what they were doing was expensive  for them and would break the tv.

I was meet with agreshion and hostility, I was told its non of my business I was invading there space and they refused to discuss it with me.

It's a simple fix the can use an app on here phone to control the chrome cast box or use a small to when they want to listen to music like this, it's not normal to have a 63 inch tv on when listening to music, and this in not what I left the TVs and amp for its for watching tv and movies. If they want to do that they should be using there own property.

I don't think what I'm asking is unreasonable.

I want to know if it's now within my rights to remove the TVs from the flat.

Any advice would be appreciate

Yes, if you replace it with something of equal or better capability. Must be a crap / old TV to still suffer from this, plasma? Yuck! I think I'd probably react to you in much the same way, to be honest. Tellys are cheap these days. No need to be so precious about it, I'd say.
