I am a new landlord and I have been advised to serve a section 21 notice to my tenant as a safe guard for myself. The reason I was given is that if my tenant becomes unsuitable for any reason, I have already served a section 21 and can ask for possession of my property immediately rather than potentially lose 2 months rent if they decide not to pay???
details of tenancy agreement:
Assured shorthold tenancy agreement
dated 31.08.13
12 months
A deposit has been taken and registered with appropriate Government approved scheme.
Have I been given good/legal advice ????
