You I said a while back that I firmly believe that boilers go to BTL to die?

Well, guess what? 

Friday night? Third in three years. 

I only HAVE four!

Seriously. WTF.         

Boilers are the bane of my life!

Sorry to hear! Worst time of year for them to pack up as well! Wasn't a new'ish one, was it?

What about storage heaters, music to the ears of Landlords. On a serious note, the old style boilers went on for years, but the modern combi's seem to last about 7-10 years and when you factor in servicing and gas checks, it makes GCH an expensive system. Makes you wonder.

I insure all mine. Cheaper in the long run IMO

Worcester Bosch are more expensive but they do have a 7 years guarantee
Have called out 3 times on three different boilers.
Repaired every time at no cost.

The last two have both been Ideal which come with a 7 year warranty. The new one is in. I'll let you know when the last one kicks up its heels.
