Over the weekend I had a call from the police about my tenant.  On and off for about a year or so the T's friend who has a drug problem has been buying his drugs near the property and has been harassing the residents for money to fund his habit.  The actual T is fine it's his friend that is the issue.  The T is a lonely old man and this druggie I think just uses him for money and a place to stay now and again.

The police told said they want me to evict the tenant but I said there are laws (and you know that) that permit me from just chucking him out.  He pays his money and whenever I do checks the place is in order and I find no drugs.  Apparently the neighbors have complained but whenever I talk to them there is no issue?

As I only live next door and I admit I have had run ins a few times with the friend but he has kept out my way for about 8 weeks and I think if it was that bad my car and van something would of happened to them by now and no police have knocked on my door about any issues.

Someone told me with his rental a 'closure order' was issued by the police but that was because it was being used as a brothel.  The police want to sit down with me and the T in the next couple weeks.  Should I push for an order?  I'm reading online it can ban certain individuals or the whole property.  I would just want the friend banned
