right of entry

In the tenancy agreement, it mentions that the landlord has right of entry if a 24 hour written notice is given. I wonder in that case, does it mean even without tenants' presence, you can use the key to gain the entry for inspections? At the moment, my tenant doesn't corporate.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes,you can go in provided you give notice.I would give more than 24 hours unless it is an emergency,and always ring the bell and wait a few minutes before going in.There should be something in your lease about this.
