I have recently bought a property, already with tenants in it, from another landlord.

As they are existing tenants (they have lived there since 2012), but new tenants to me, do I have to carry out the 'Right To Rent' immigration status checks?

Right to rent doesn't start until Feb 2016 so answer: no
